This witty comedy features the beloved characters Beatrice and Benedick, whose comic battles of wit disguise their secret love. Join us this summer for a romp through the 11th century as knights of the templar return victorious from war and women in headdress are ready and waiting for romance in a new-found world of courtly love. Couples form and weddings are planned. All is well until a jealous brother sets a devastating lie in motion forcing Beatrice and Bendick to join hand in hand to help protect an innocent girl. With dazzling prose, the play illustrates the complexity and beauty of human relationships. In turn, we are certain to love the play "with so much of our hearts, that none is left to protest."
