The State Theatre brings the wonders of the Met Opera to our community, in a setting that is perfectly suited for live performances, even if it is broadcast from over one hundred miles away. This year there will be 12 operas for you to enjoy!!

Discussions and Luncheons
Continuing this year are pre-opera discussions led by knowledgeable community members and Penn State faculty, who will explain everything from the contexts in which the operas were written to the technicalities of performing these works. Please join us at our luncheons featuring fine food, special speakers and lively conversation with others who share a passion for opera.

The State Theatre Opera Buffs
At the State Theatre, we have an active opera community, the State Theatre Opera Buffs, that keeps growing every year and we'd love to see it continue. We offer great benefits for those that show their support by joining. The continuation of the opera broadcasts hinges on your support.

8/27: MET Opera Members
9/3: The State Theatre Opera Buffs (donations of $250 or more)
9/7: General Public

Costs
Adult: $24, Senior: $22, Student/Child: $18
A $2 Box Office Fee is charged to all tickets.

Subscription Rates
Purchase a ticket to any 3 Operas and receive 50% off the 3rd ticket.
Purchase a ticket to any 5 Operas and receive a ticket to a 6th Opera Free.
Purchase a ticket to any 10 Operas and receive a ticket to the 11th and 12th Opera Free.

Group ticketing: 10% off 15 or more tickets. Offer not valid with any other offer.
